1. Who is responsible for the data

Orange Pine d.o.o. decides how and why Bee247 uses personal data. The GDPR calls this the data controller. Its address is Radnička cesta 80, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, and its OIB is 65533769439.

Bee247 helps people find and contact providers and publish profiles and listings. Contracts for advertised services are not made on Bee247.

2. Data we use

For an account, we use login and profile details, your language, account status and proof that you accepted the Terms. If you sign in with Google, we use the data Google sends for sign-in.

For profiles and listings, we use provider type, OIB, contact details, location, service area, descriptions, categories and photos. We also record whether content is published or waiting for review.

A private person's OIB is never public. A company or craft profile's OIB is public only when its owner turns on that setting.

When you use a feature, we use the data needed for it. This includes messages, reviews, replies, favourites, notifications, reports, written complaints and privacy requests.

For security, we record technical and security events. For basic statistics, we record a random session label, approximate network location, browser type, page visited, source of the visit, search, general filters and result count.

We do not store secret values or precise coordinates in these statistics.

3. Why we use it

We use data to run and protect accounts, publish and find content, enable contact, answer requests and send necessary messages. We also use it to check content and make backups.

We use data for the main service because you asked us to provide it. We must use or keep some data because the law requires it, for example for complaints and illegal-content reports.

For security, abuse prevention, content checks and basic statistics, we rely on a justified business need called legitimate interest. You may object to this use.

We ask for your consent before using optional external services. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. What is public and what is private

Published profiles, listings and business contact details are public because Bee247 is a public directory.

Login details, private messages, a non-public OIB and the contact details of a person who sends a complaint or report are not public.

Do not put another person's data in public text or photos unless you have a valid reason to do so.

A person affected by an illegal-content report may receive the facts and reasons for the decision. They do not receive the identity of the person who reported it.

5. AI and external services

Bee247 does not send passwords, OIB, contact details, private messages, account records or photos to AI services.

Automatic checks send the AI service only the public text being checked. This may be a provider name and description, listing title and description, review or public reply.

For a category suggestion or translation, we send only the title and description. This happens only after you choose that AI action. AI can make mistakes, so check the result before publishing.

Bee247 uses Google only for optional sign-in. It does not use Google Analytics. Google receives data only after you allow Google sign-in and then choose it. Bee247 handles maps, entered addresses and coordinates with its own Croatia services based on OpenStreetMap data. When the self-hosted map is enabled, map, address and coordinate requests remain on Bee247's server. During the transition, external OpenStreetMap tile servers may receive your IP address and map request only if you allow maps.

When Bee247 sends email, the delivery service receives the recipient's address and the message content.

Only authorized Orange Pine staff and necessary technical providers may access data. Each may use only the data needed for its work.

If data is handled outside the European Economic Area, Orange Pine must use the safeguards required by the GDPR. You can ask us for information about these safeguards at the email address below.

6. How long we keep data

We delete basic statistics and search logs after 90 days. We keep electronic written complaints for at least one year after receiving them.

We keep illegal-content report records while they are needed to handle the report, an appeal or legal proceedings. We check at least once a year whether they are still needed.

We generally keep accounts and published content while they are active. After account deletion, we delete data or change it so that it no longer identifies you.

We must keep some records for legal, security, dispute or accepted-Terms evidence. Deleted data may remain in a backup until a newer backup replaces it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may ask to see, correct, delete or limit the use of your data. You may also ask for a copy you can transfer to another service, object to use and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not change lawful use that happened earlier.

For a request, use the form or email us at the address below. We may check that the request concerns you, but we do not ask for or store a copy of an identity document.

We will reply within the GDPR deadline. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) at azop.hr.

8. Cookies and external-service choices

We use a session cookie for sign-in, security, language, external-service choices and a random label for basic statistics. External maps and Google sign-in stay blocked until you allow them. Location search through Bee247's service works without that choice.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie choice button. After the page reloads, withdrawing a choice blocks future requests.

Withdrawal cannot recall data an external service already received. Choice cookies expire after 180 days. The choice applies only to that browser and is not saved as a choice for your account.

9. Security, changes and contact

We limit access, collect only needed data and run security checks. We also have recovery steps for serious problems. No system is completely secure.

We will publish important changes with a new date. When needed, we will show a clear notice or ask you to choose again.
